About the Role
As a Product Developer, you will lead the full product development cycle from initial concept to final production across all our collections. You’ll help shape the creative and technical direction of our product lines, ensuring every piece aligns with our standards for quality, sustainability, and impact.
We imagine you bring experience from streetwear or lifestyle apparel, or from other mission-driven brands. You understand what modern consumers expect: durability, comfort, responsible materials, and thoughtful design. You’ll use this knowledge to create premium products that raise awareness and support marine conservation with every purchase.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee product development from idea to final production, ensuring each style meets our quality, performance, and sustainability goals.
- Manage and coordinate the entire NPD process, collaborating seamlessly with internal teams and external partners.
- Source and select materials, trims, and fabrics that balance sustainability, performance, and cost.
- Offer smart solutions to meet target prices, quality benchmarks, and margin requirements.
- Create and maintain accurate tech packs, BOMs, and development documentation.
- Oversee material orders, prototypes, samples, approvals, and production timelines.
- Conduct fittings, wear tests, and product evaluations to ensure every style meets our standards.
- Negotiate pricing, MOQs, and timelines, and ensure continuous quality improvements with suppliers.
- Implement sustainability targets and ensure responsible sourcing and production practices.
- Confirm FOB/TGM prices aligned with margin targets and maintain accurate product data for smooth handovers.
- Handle quality claims and ensure consistent follow-up on supplier performance and delivery accuracy.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in apparel product development, ideally within streetwear or lifestyle.
- Degree in Textile Management, Product Development, Apparel Design, Business, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of fabrics, trims, fit, construction, manufacturing methods, and sustainable production.
- Proven ability to negotiate pricing, MOQs, and lead times while maintaining margin goals.
- Detail-oriented, self-driven, and solution-focused, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Bonus: Experience working with mission-driven brands, sustainability initiatives, or marine/ocean-related projects.

Location: Flexible (Hybrid or Remote options available)
Start Date: By agreement
Travel: Occasional domestic or international travel to suppliers and production partners
